Meet Laura
I’m Laura Keown, originally from Ireland and now based in Amsterdam-Noord. As a BIG-registered physiotherapist, I help people move well, feel stronger and gain confidence in their bodies.
I believe in movement as medicine. The right movement, guidance and support can play an important role in recovery, managing pain and overall wellbeing. My approach is personal and practical: I combine physiotherapy with movement exercises and work with you on what matters to you.
I have experience with a wide range of people and conditions, including older adults, complex cases, rehabilitation after surgery and sports injuries. Alongside physiotherapy, I use Pilates, sports massage, cupping and taping where appropriate to support recovery and movement.
I previously taught Pilates at Pilates Noord and now have my own physiotherapy practice in the studio. I value its welcoming atmosphere and focus on movement, and want to create that same environment for my clients. I speak English, Dutch and Gaeilge (Irish). I look forward to welcoming you to the studio in Amsterdam-Noord.

Payment, reimbursement and cancellation
You do not need a referral from your GP to make an appointment.
LK Fysiotherapie does not have contracts with Dutch health insurers. Depending on your policy, your insurer may reimburse up to 100% of the amount paid. Check with your insurer beforehand to find out which reimbursement applies to you.
You can pay by debit card or bank transfer. Your invoice will be sent by email.
Unable to attend? Please cancel at least 24 hours in advance by email, WhatsApp or telephone. The full fee is charged if you do not attend your appointment.
