What to expect
A strength class lasts 45 minutes. You use dumbbells, kettlebells and body weight, with cardio elements and teamwork. Your instructor provides variety, encouragement and help with technique.
Classes take place in the Strength Training Room next to the Reformer room. Experienced, certified trainers guide new and experienced participants. If recovering or recently postpartum, speak to the teacher first.

Pilates and strength training complement each other
The quality of your movement
Pilates focuses on body awareness, posture, mobility, control and stability. You learn to use your strength with attention.
Your capacity to move
Strength training focuses on strength, muscle, loading the bones and endurance. You can work towards what you want to do in sport and daily life.
You can combine both: mindful movement and physical challenge support each other.
Build a routine you can sustain
Build up gradually, choose a suitable intensity and keep paying attention to control and stability. Use loads you can handle with good technique. The teacher can adapt exercises where needed.
The atmosphere is personal and welcoming. We want to get to know you and your body so guidance can fit different stages of life.
