Menopause and beyond
Move with strength through menopause
Strength, mobility and recovery matter throughout life. We help you find a way to train that suits you.
Space for your experience
The experience around menopause varies. Changes in sleep, energy, temperature, mood or your body can affect how training feels. Tell the teacher what needs attention for you.
Your healthcare professional is the right person for medical questions or symptoms. In the studio, we focus on movement, goals and a suitable progression.
Combine strength and mobility
Resistance training means moving against resistance, such as dumbbells, a barbell, bands, body weight or Reformer springs. Exercises can become gradually more challenging while maintaining technique and control.
Pilates focuses on mobility, stability and body awareness. Strength training adds targeted physical challenge. Your teacher helps adapt variety, load and execution to your capacity.
Recovery is part of training
Notice how you respond to training and allow enough recovery. Increase the load gradually and vary movements and training formats.
Comfortable endurance activity, such as brisk walking or easy running, can sit alongside strength and Pilates. Choose an intensity that fits your fitness and still allows conversation. If you have symptoms, pelvic-floor questions or bone problems, ask about suitable guidance.
We want to help you start with confidence and build a routine you can sustain.
