REFORMER PILATES.
At Pilates Noord, we train in small groups of up to six people. This allows us to give everyone personal attention and respond effectively to individual needs. We look at your posture, technique, and any areas that need attention, so that you can train safely and effectively and get the most out of every class.
We offer group classes at different levels, so you can always find a class that suits you. Would you prefer personal guidance? Then you can opt for a private class or a duo class. During personal training on the Reformer, the focus is on your body and your goals. We discuss your wishes in detail beforehand and tailor the training entirely to your needs.
Reformer Pilates is also a safe and effective way to regain strength when recovering from an injury or surgery, or if you have recently given birth. Movement is essential in the recovery process—it not only makes you physically stronger, but also gives you more mental energy and confidence. On the reformer, you train in a controlled, goal-oriented manner with a focus on technique.
WHY IS A REFORMER CLASS SO EFFECTIVE?
The reformer is a unique and versatile Pilates machine, developed by Joseph Pilates at the beginning of the last century. This special machine works with spiral springs that provide resistance and support during the exercises.
Thanks to these springs, you experience exactly the right balance between challenge and control. They provide resistance to build strength, but also feedback that allows you to feel how a movement should be performed. You work intensively on your balance, coordination, muscle strength, and flexibility—each class challenges your body in a safe and effective way.
