STRENGTH TRAINING GROUP CLASSES
Become stronger together. Strength training group classes are fun, motivating, and effective. You train in an energetic atmosphere, are encouraged by the group, and get just that little bit extra out of yourself.
Train responsibly. Learn the correct technique.
The instructor provides a varied workout and monitors your technique, so you can get stronger in a responsible way. What’s more, training together is often just more fun than training alone – for your muscles and your motivation.
During the class, you can expect a mix of dumbbells, kettlebells, and body weight work, supplemented with cardio elements and teamwork. And lots of fun.
You will train in a group of up to 9 people and the class lasts 45 minutes. Classes can be booked with your mat class card or your subscription. Classes are held in our Strength Training Room, next to our Reformer Room.
Why strength training is a perfect complement to Pilates.
Pilates provides mobility, stability, flexibility, and a strong core. Strength training adds more muscle strength and thus also bone strengthening. Together, they improve your posture, stability, and energy, and you build a strong, supple, and resilient body.

PILATES OR STRENGTH TRAINING?
WHY CHOOSE?
It is not Pilates or strength training.
It is Pilates AND strength training.
They both have a different goal and complement each other perfectly.
With both, you build a strong, healthy body that supports you for a lifetime.
PILATES IMPROVES THE QUALITY OF MOVEMENT
Pilates helps you move better by working on:
• more body awareness
• better posture
• more mobility
• more control over your movements
• more stability
Before you start training heavier, it is important that you develop this foundation.
This ensures that you move more efficiently and more safely.
STRENGTH TRAINING IMPROVES YOUR CAPACITY TO MOVE
With strength training, you develop:
• more muscle mass
• stronger bones
• more endurance
As a result, you can handle more, recover better, and remain strong and independent for longer.
This is essential if you want to age healthily.
THIS IS HOW PILATES AND STRENGTH TRAINING REINFORCE EACH OTHER
Pilates helps you use your strength effectively.
Strength training gives you the physical capacity to do more.
Do not train heavier than you can perform with good control and stability.
Build up gradually, train with attention to technique, and choose an intensity you can sustain in the long run.
Sustainable training ultimately yields the greatest gains.
YOU DON’T HAVE TO CHOOSE
Combine the methods.
Pilates improves the quality of your movement.
Strength training increases your physical capacity.
Together, they form a training routine that you can sustain and that helps you build a strong, resilient body.
Not just for now, but also for the future. Because aging healthily begins with learning to move well.
